Decent Thai food. Four friendly Thai staff served us.
Perfect thai food. Spicy, fresh and always tastes great.
Ate here 2x. Red curry. Beef tenderloin. One of the best tasting Thai.
Good food and good service. Spicy ginger tea. Lots of vegetarian options, and lots of options with meats in it as well. Definitely a restaurant to return to if you're staying in the Danvers area. Prices here are fair as well. Parking is accessible.
Without question, Sawasdee is the best thai place in the area. We dine here once every other week or so. My husband loves the Pad Thai, and the green curry is my favorite. and the drunken noodles...so good!
The food here is absolutely amazing, whether you choose to eat at the restaurant or get your food to go. I miss their ginger and scallion shrimp! I have friends that go just for the hot ginger tea, too.
Best Thai food I've had a very very long time. The Shrimp Pad Thai is absolutely delicious! Nice atmosphere too. Bring a date or family. I fully recommend it!
From Atlanta and came here for dinner with coworkers. Service was quick and attentive. Great suggestions were made and the food was delicious. If you order “Thai hot” it is truly a Thai hot and authentically flavored. Pictured is the Pad Thai and Tom Yum soup.
Very good thai food. My go-to dish is the basil fried rice- add a protein. It is spicy without making your eyes tear up, but so good! On street parking can sometimes be a challenge. The do not have a full bar.
Love their food - amazingly tasty spices, and superb service. Nicely done!
We came to this place for a meeting. This place was recommended to us by a friend. Well, we were not disappointed. The staff welcomed us with a smile and we felt excellent. The meal was tasty. We enjoyed every moment and we shall absolutely come back again. Warmly recommended.
The food is always fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly and very pleasant. Take out is quick and easy.
Awesome food!
Fresh, friendly and authentic. Thai all the way. Staff very friendly. Frequently get the lunch combo so I can enjoy the ginger orange dressing. Drunken Noodles spicy to perfection.
Delicious Thai food with reasonable prices, served with friendly Thai smiles.
Authentic Thai with excellent curry, drunken noodles and pad Thai. Super friendly staff and an all around good vibe. Can't ask for more from a Thai restaurant.
Awesome little Thai restaurant in town
We were a very large group, varied dishes, everything - food and service - was great. Highly recommend the crispy duck!!
Great food fast service and super friendly
Best chicken sandwich i've had in a while, would gladly recommend this place!
The appetizers were great and the main dish. Service was prompt and the process were good. I'd come again.
We had dinner at this restaurant at the recommendation of a local. It seems like a casual restaurant. I had the yellow curry. This was probably the best Thai food I've had. The difference was the spices that were just right. Both my friend and I felt that the food was excellent!
Not every day is always the same. But here at Sawasdee the food is always delicious. My favorite plate is the Sesame Trio. Is spicy with mixed withe chicken and some delicious veggies. Not to mention how quickly is the turn around if you looking to get back to work after a quick lunch at this friendly restaurant. Well done!!
Had TomYum soup, I thought this was supposed to be a spicy soup but was kind of sweet ... worst tomyum soup ever... Moreover the server I had seemed annoyed nd jst had an un-happy aura in general ... would not go there again...
On the first full day of our mini-vacation, on our way to bar harbour Maine, we stopped for lunch at this delightful Thai restaurant in Danvers. Lovely, authentic decor. The lunch menu was extensive and the vegetarian selections plentiful. The steamed veggies and tofu with chefs spicy peanut sauce incredible. FRESH vegetables.!!!❤
OMG..this place is fantastic. Great food.
Great food friendly owner...
The pad Thai was super sweet. Recommend you ask to have it less sweet.
Really good thai. Excellent variety. Great service from friendly staff. We're new to the area and tried them when we got a coupon in a mailer. Even without the discount, the price was more than fair. We expect this will be a place we visit often.
Great food. Excellent service.
Excellent food, service could be better at times. Always fresh food. Very tasty. Dining room is very dim lit and perfect for date night. All in all the best thai food in the northshore!
Great Thai food. Good service. May not have the best of decor though. Would definitely go again.
Really good place. Really tastey food, (although they could maybe reduce quantity & improve quality, they give a lot of food) lovely staff and great value. Will go back and definitely recommend.
I will only rate in stars because I can't say it was bad but it wasn't great either. I'm from Hong Kong and have traveled to extensively in Asia. I have resided in the US for decades. They do need more wait staff.
the pad thai is so inconsistent. they have the ability to make it really well, it’s been great many times... they also have the ability to make it really bland, which is how i receive it more often than not. the chefs here are not even close to equal. one thing i’ve noticed is that if you order it on monday through thursday it tends to be better. the worse chef will give you a bigger portion, but it will be disappointing. whoever the ace is, please teach the lesser chefs how to make a proper pad thai. it’s the same thing with the chilies duck(the other dish i order). sometimes fantastic, sometimes made by worse chefs and not so.
This is definitely a Thai gem in this area! The place is easy to pass by as it's not flashy but boy is the food here delicious! We came here for lunch and the first thing I noticed was how good the value was for the noodle dishes! I paid $7.25 for a decent size portion of pad thai and it was absolutely delicious! Very fresh and not overly sweet. My partner got the drunken noodle which has a very good spicy kick so if you're fan of spicy dishes definitely give it a try!Service was prompt and I will definitely be back if i'm in the area!
Let me set the scene: it's Friday evening and I try and call and no answer. I'm annoyed, but I understand it's Friday. I'm close by so I drive over and order in person. As I walk up, a tiny young woman walks out with a bag of food nearly bigger than she is. As I wait, many people come and go for their orders. The phone is constantly ringing, and the tables are filled. If you're still reading this and can't decide, just go. It's good.
Delicious. Space is a little small.
This place never fails to deliver. They serve good food for affordable prices, there no long wait even when the spot is packed.
Ordered the duck curry and it was excellent. This was marked as one of the spicier dishes but it was pretty tame by my standards, that said, the flavor was so good it would have been a shame to go for just heat. Overall it worked out great.
We love eating at Sawasdee. The food is always delicious. The roit/curry appetizer is really good and flavorful.
The staff were friendly and the food was great. I normally go far my usual Pad See Ew and my mom goes for Panang Curry, but we decided to go for something different because they had a great variety available than most Thai restaurants. I had the duck noodle soup and it was delicious, the duck was cooked perfectly and the broth was perfectly seasoned. My mom got the Mango Panang Curry and it was the perfect balance between sweet and spicy. The only thing I would have to say that was a bit of putting was the smell. It was a bit of a fishy smell as soon as you walked into the restaurant but you adjust to it.
Amazing food, My friend and I both had duck curry dishes and exciting tea beveragesAtmosphere and service excelled
Beautiful town! Nice restaurants.
Service was good and fast. Inside was nice. Servers were nice. The chicken was a bit tough and potatoes were undercooked. We told told them about the undercooked potatoes, and they kindly replaced them with more undercooked potatoes. Seems like a fine place to stop, but our food just wasn't that good.
Horrible experience. I went here based on reviews. Had a terrible experience. The server was super rude. Appetizers are super small. Medium spicy is like hot and spicy be careful with the spice level. 7 on 1p is what I order but I couldn't handle it. I generally eat spicy food but looked like it was 10 on 10. Other ladies may be nice but the one we had was some thing else. Entree portions are not super big. Prices are ok. Overall below average experience.
Great food and service
The people are friendly but the food is mediocre. You can get better Pad Thai noodles at the Chinese restaurant a mile away. This food does not have much flavor, and they seem to use too much sugar and not enough spice. Thai food is supposed to be spicy, so you know they’re just making it sweet for the American palate.
Fantastic! The service was incredible (we got our food within 15 minutes of ordering) and the wait staff was very attentive and polite. The food was delicious too! If you go, try the Thai iced tea. Sooooo much better than any other Thai iced tea I've tried.
Love the Pad Thai!
